Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can manage your subscription, change plans, or cancel anytime from your account settings. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period. No fees, no penalties.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan lets you create your first client portal at no cost — no credit card required. When you're ready to collect e-signatures, send payment links, or take on more projects, upgrade to Solo or Pro.
What's included in Solo?
Solo ($19/month) includes up to 5 active projects, branded client portals, smart intake forms, e-signatures (ESIGN & eIDAS compliant), Stripe payment collection, file uploads, and automatic PDF project briefs.
Do my clients need to create an account?
No. Clients access their portal via a unique link. No signup, no login, no friction. They complete the entire onboarding in one session.
Is the e-signature legally binding?
Yes. Portawo signatures are ESIGN Act and eIDAS compliant. Each signature captures the signer's name, IP address, and timestamp for a complete audit trail.
How do Stripe payments work?
Create payment links directly from your portal. Your client pays via Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Funds are deposited directly to your connected bank account with automatic payouts.
What happens when I hit the 5-project limit on Solo?
You can mark completed projects as done to free up slots, or upgrade to Pro for unlimited active projects. We'll remind you before you hit the limit.
